Gro-Egg by Gro Company Nursery Thermometer Full Australian Warranty
Peace of mind at a glance - the innovative Gro-egg changes colour to let you know at a glance whether the temperature of a room is too low, too high or just right, helping you maintain a safe sleeping environment for your baby. As an added bonus it even works well as a gentle night light. Never has keeping an eye on the temperature in your nursery been easier! The Gro Egg simply glows blue, yellow, orange or red according to the temperature! It has a back-lit LCD screen for a more accurate reading and its 10.6cm size makes it completely portable! Too easy!
A yellow glow suggests a comfortable temperature for children to sleep in, whilst a blue glow suggests it's too cold and a red glow suggests it's too warm. The colours act as a reminder for you to cool or heat the room, to modify the baby's clothing, to use a different tog Grobag Baby Sleep Bag or for non-sleep bag users to alter the level of bedding.

This is a great night light that displays the room temperature and also changes colour depending on whether the room is hot, cold or just right. It comes with a guideline to help you dress your baby appropriately for the night. I have found this very reassuring as the 'one more layer than you' advice didn't help me when I sleep in light PJs under a very big doona and my baby was wearing a swaddle suit and has no blankets (SIDs paranoia!). The soft glow of the light is also great for those wake ups. I don't need to turn any extra lights on to get my baby up out of his bassinet or resettle him. It's not quite bright enough for breastfeeding at this stage but will be fine once he's a bit older and needs less help getting started.
